Wayne Pfluger ACF, Consulting Forester 

Wayne Pfluger graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. Forestry degree and has over 15 years experience in the Piney Woods of East Texas.  He has a vast knowledge of timberland management, controlled burning, timber sales, mineral estate management, grazing and hunting lease management, and agricultural tax consulting. Wayne’s timber management experience is with both industrial forests and non-industrial forestlands

Wayne Pfluger is married and has three children.  He is the Area 9 Chairman for the Texas Tree Farm Committee, a member of The Texas Forestry Association, The Society of American Foresters, The Association of Consulting Foresters of America and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.  Wayne is also very active with his three children and their activities.  You will often find him chaperoning a Golden Girl event, coaching a soccer or t-ball team or cheering at a Peet basketball game.  The Pfluger family attends The First Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas.

Bob Harper ACF, Consulting Forester

Bob Harper has a B.S. in Forestry with a minor in wildlife management from Stephen F. Austin State University and has worked in the Texas Forests for over 30 years. He specializes in long-term timberland management with years of experience in establishing goals, writing management plans, and implementing these plans to reach the long term goals of the landowner.  Bob also specializes in timber sales, timber appraisals, and property tax consulting.  

Bob Harper is married with four children.  He is a past State Chairman and currently Area 8 Chairman for the Texas Tree Farm Committee, and also a member of The Texas Forestry Association, The Society of American Foresters, and The Association of Consulting Foresters of America.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Army Security Agency, and active in his church, currently serving as a Vestry Member and Senior Warden of St. James the Apostle Episcopal Church in Conroe, Texas.

Jeff Harper - Technician 

Jeff Harper joined The Lone Star Forestry LLC staff in 2005 and has trained as a Forest Technician.  He graduated from Texas State Technical School with an Associate Degree in automotive technology.  He is A.S.E. certified in every area of certification offered and attended the Mississippi State University Controlled Burn School.  Jeff cruises timber, marks timber for sales, paints boundary lines, and drives our bulldozer putting in fire lines for controlled burns and assists with all other operations of the company.  

Jeff Harper is married with one daughter.  He is a member of The Texas Forestry Association and he and his family attend The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas.

Shelley Pfluger – Accounting, Office Support 

Shelley Pfluger recently joined the team to offer office support to the growing needs of Lone Star Forestry LLC.  She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting.  After many years of office management and working as an accounting controller, she is proud to finally work for 2 non-cranky bosses.  Her goal is to organize and take care of the office administration so the rest of the company can be out on client locations.  She is currently learning the company’s GIS system to better serve our clients. 

Shelley Pfluger is married to Wayne Pfluger and they have 3 children.  She is an active part of their school and extra-curricular activities.
